Empowering Success: 2MFM Staff and Volunteers Acquire Invaluable Grant Writing Skills and Knowledge

On Saturday, June 10th 2023, a total of nine staff members and volunteers from 2MFM participated in an intensive grants writing course delivered by CMTO trainer, Sandy Al-Aweik. The session was focused on providing comprehensive knowledge and skills related to preparing effective funding applications. Through the comprehensive course, they acquired knowledge on identifying funding opportunities, planning for applications, writing compelling grant proposals, developing budgets, and effectively reporting on grants.

The participants of the CMTO grants writing course from 2MFM provided overwhelmingly positive feedback about their learning experience and the knowledge they acquired. They expressed their appreciation for the comprehensive curriculum and the practical skills they gained throughout the session.

They were guided through the process of identifying suitable grant funding opportunities, emphasizing the importance of strategic planning when applying for grants. They learned valuable grant writing tips and techniques, such as how to effectively communicate project objectives, outcomes, and impact to potential funders.

Another significant aspect covered during the course was grant budgets. The participants were taught how to develop detailed and realistic budgets that align with the proposed project activities.
